White Card
Veteran Card – Specific Conditions. Dental treatment is covered only when it relates to a condition DVA has accepted.

What you pay
When treatment is provided under DVA arrangements, you shouldn't be charged for it. We send the claim to DVA for you.
- Some high-cost items, such as some crowns and bridges, have a two-year DVA spending limit. If treatment would go over it, we tell you first and explain any co-payment.
- Some treatment needs DVA's approval before it starts. We let you know if that applies.
- Treatment outside DVA arrangements is quoted before it goes ahead.

Do I pay anything with a Gold Card?
Not for dental care provided under DVA arrangements to meet a clinical need. Some high-cost items have a two-year DVA spending limit, and we tell you before treatment if a co-payment could apply.
What does a White Card cover at the dentist?
Only dental treatment related to a condition DVA has accepted. We check with DVA before treatment starts.
Do you claim from DVA for me?
Yes. We process the claim with DVA, so you don't need to claim it yourself.
How often can dentures be replaced?
Under DVA arrangements, dentures can usually be replaced every six years, unless they were relined in the past year, or sooner if your dentist recommends it.
What should I bring?
Your Veteran Card, and a list of any medications you take.
