Sandgate Family Dental is located at 12 Lagoon St in the heart of Sandgate, opposite Einbunpin Lagoon Park and a 2-minute walk from Sandgate train and bus station. We welcome patients from across the North Brisbane bayside area, including families from Shorncliffe, Deagon, Brighton, Bracken Ridge, Boondall and Clontarf.
Whether you’re looking for a routine check-up, a children’s dentist for the kids, or need emergency dental care in a hurry, our team is here to help. We’re open Monday to Friday to fit around your schedule, with Saturday morning appointments, 8:00AM to 12:00PM.
New to the area? Our $199 New Patient Check & Clean covers an exam, scale and clean, fluoride and x-rays if required, with Dr Nima or Dr Nina on any day we’re open. New patients only, valid until 31 December 2026; see conditions.

Where can I park?
There is ample street parking available. Accessible parking is also available.
Can I get there by train or bus?
Yes. We are at 12 Lagoon Street, opposite Einbunpin Lagoon Park, a 2-minute walk from Sandgate train and bus station. Sandgate station is on the Shorncliffe line.
Are you open on Saturdays?
Yes. We are open Saturday mornings, 8:00AM to 12:00PM. During the week we are open Monday to Thursday 8:30AM to 5:00PM and Friday 8:30AM to 4:00PM. We are closed on Sundays.
What if I need urgent dental care?
Call us on (07) 3269 6252. We keep urgent appointments available on weekdays and Saturday mornings. Outside our opening hours, go to your nearest hospital emergency department. If it is life-threatening, call 000.
How do I book?

Can I claim my health fund on the day?
Yes. We claim on the spot with HICAPS for most health funds with dental extras, and you pay any gap on the day. We are a preferred provider for HCF, CBHS, nib and HIF, and an approved provider for Smile.com.au. What you get back depends on your fund, your level of cover and your remaining limits. Please bring your fund card.
Is the practice wheelchair accessible?
The practice entry is step-free, and accessible parking is available. If you have any access needs, please let us know when you book.
