Dr Nima graduated with her Bachelor of Dental Surgery in 2011.
Her full name is Dr Poornima Kancherla — most patients know her as Dr Nima. She completed her degree at The Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R. Medical University in Chennai and is registered as a dental practitioner with the Dental Board of Australia through AHPRA (registration DEN0002138398).
After graduating, Dr Nima practiced in both public and private clinics in Victoria for 8 years before moving to Brisbane and joining Sandgate Family Dental.
Nima is passionate about delivering quality dental care in a comfortable and calm atmosphere. Her goal is to promote healthy mouths for all her patients, and she is always happy to welcome new patients.
Outside of the clinic, Dr Nima enjoys spending time with her growing family, her two boys and a girl, and pursuing her interests in martial arts, hiking, and cooking.
