Root Canal Treatment

Root canal treatment, also known as endodontic therapy, is a dental procedure that involves removing the infected or damaged pulp (the soft tissue inside the tooth) and cleaning, disinfecting, and sealing the tooth’s interior. This treatment is necessary when the tooth’s pulp becomes inflamed or infected due to deep decay, a cracked tooth, or trauma. Left untreated, the infection can lead to severe pain, abscess formation, and eventual tooth loss.
